I was having lunch today with my wife and kid, when we saw a escalade park on the street blocking the drive way, as cars drove around it there were 3 guys talking inside the fancy car, 15 minutes whent by and two white males and it looked like a hispanic or middle eastern guy came out of it like they own the street, the two white males got into a ragiddy old car roll a joint smoke it and drove off.

I have allways believed that Tracy had gotten worst in the last few years that I lived here but this is ridicules. Criminals are not even afraid any more of the police here in this town, we have bank robberies once a month, businesses get robbed every week and cars are getting stolen by the hour here in Tracy.

is just sad that what we used to think was a good place to live and rise our kids, is now the home of the gang bangers, thifs and criminals. is anybody thinkig OAKLAND or LA. Because that is how it feels lately,

my question to you is how did this situation hurt you or your family in any way shape or form it didnt . as far as your assuming it was a drug deal how would you know unless you ben involved in one yourself or let me guess you seen it on tv befor ! the thing that upsets me is there are so many way more important going on around us right now than fighting an unwinable drug war that our govt. supports . drugs were brought into our society by govt and controlled by govt it produces revinue for govt. and local lawinforcement . so think real hard do you think they are going to put an end to there largest contributor of funds for there agency NO WAY !now as far as your shootings ,robberies, and other violence this would all still be going on with or without drugs. you say the cops arnt doing there job thats because they are worse than the criminals themselves thats a fact . the cops break the laws they are suppose to inforce more than the criminals why cause we have given them too much power its only gonna get worse. if it was nt for sniches doing all the homework for the cops they would nt be making society think they are such hard working heroes who are saving our streets . do your homework google a little and you might be ammased at what you learn on the war on drugs

That is right is going to get worst because of people like you, that have given up with out put in up a fight. cowards like you make this country weak, you give up with out even trying, I don't give a deam about the money that drug bring in, all I want is my kids to grow up in a safe neigborhood. cops in tracy do a good gob but 3 cops is not enough for a city that is 3 times what it used to be. next time dont smoke the pipe before you make a comment, try and sober up before you start typing.

medranos, did you call the police. Even if they weren't smoking pot and appeared to be, the fact that it was logged in helps the police to know where to look and what to look for. You could be right and they were doing illegal drugs. Just ignoring the situation won't make it go away. Think of your kids, get a license plate number or the description of the car.

crackerjackr, what it hurts is that if they were smoking pot and driving then people are in trouble, like getting run over,innocent bystanders.

Drugs like marijuana will never be legalized because people would stop making that almighty dollar. Legalized pot would be taxed and regulated, not what the pot growers really want. They make millions of dollars on these large grow houses and they don't want to be regulated. They want to push the stuff but not pay their far share.
