What Tracy and most other towns need to do is stop building new eyesores. There are a lot of commercial buildings in tracy that are left from past generations that are still usable for merchants and firms who ever else wants to have a buiseness office or space. stop building unsightly storag units, stop building huge office spaces hoping someone may lease one.
SAVE OUR NATURAL LAND AND STOP COVERING EVERY PIECE OF DIRT WITH CONCRETE OR ASPHALT.
Tracy used to be a place for agriculture where corn and tomatoes and beans used to get harvested.
Huge corporations came in and decided that harvesting a crop of houses is more profitabele than harvesting a bushel of corn. Big corporations decided it is more profitible to build a 40 acre building full of little offices in hopes that one day someone will lease one.
There are a lot of people losing there dream of owning a home because of this. Raw land, you know the kind with dirt and weeds, or maybe green grass and trees are becoming obsolete, in 40 or 50 years from now our future heirs are not going to know what green grass looks like because by that time they will resort to painting asphalt or concrete green to look like grass because there is no dirt left. Look at our football stadiums already, astroturf, what happened to grass and mud?
I read a while back that some homes were going to be torn down and smome trees in tracy to make way for parking lots, just another example of our dirt and homes becoming endagered. how many fast food restaruanuts do we really need? 3 or 4 taco bells, 2 or 3 KFC, 4 or 5 Mcdonalds, think about it.
