Tonight the news media is all fired up about the US Navy shooting down a out of control, dead, spy satellite. This is nothing new, China shot down one of its own satellites on Jan 11 2007. This was a test of Chinas own missile defense system and many nations were upset if not threatened by this "test". So, when you watch the evening news or read about it in the paper tomorrow morning, take notice if the media mentions this. Chances are they won't. Tonight CNN is all fired up about this, yet they haven't mentioned that this has happened before. See how this is played out on the international and national view of the United States. You decide.
