The only thing I can say is to keep calling. I think they are understaffed there and it is a low priority. But the more complaints, the more they will realize the need for help.

Chris Smith. I know if the sign is on your property, yes you can remove it. That happened to me and I took it and tossed it in the garbage. It is your property and if they didn't ask permission by all means toss it.

Be sure to call code enforcement if you are unsure.
Public property, stop signs, signals, sidewalks, median strips, utility poles. city owned sound walls a private citizen can remove the ugly sign as long as you don't damage the poles, etc. Like those garage sale signs.

Don't take real estate signs or A frame signs.

What I thought I might do is start writing down these offensive signs and posting them here. If they can put all their info out in public then I'm sure they wouldn't mind seeing it in print.

Call code enforcement if you see people digging in your garbage or walking home with a grocery cart. Thats illegal too. Did you know the people digging in our garbages make about 50 bucks a day, each?

there are 9 or ten signs for Liberty Tax between Lowell and 9th on 11th street...then they have a sign-waiver, too, plus a martial arts company has two red a-frames in the same area, and their business is across town. When I went down to the City and asked about putting up some of the "flag" signs, they said they were illegal and could be removed. Then I was noticing how messy Tracy Blvd. was in the vicinity of Clover Rd...and decided to pay for ads in the TP...

To be included among the unwanted practices we see around town are the signs taped (for sale, lost pets, etc.)on mailboxes inside developments which are I believe supposed to be maintained by the postal service.

Can the postal service authorize any of the users of those individual mailboxes to help maintain them free from litter and those unsightly signs?

There are about 10 or 12 tires on Byron road down from Caldron's Market. I wonder if is the R and R's responsibility or the cities.
