Anybody who has shopped at Costco or SAfeway where this fraud occured should immediately change the PIN on their account if they haven't done so already. It sucks, you're not safe using a card and with rising crime due to the economy you don't want to carry a wallet full of cash either. The blurry photo of the crook probably won't help catch the jerks. At least they have a general description.

Sorry this happened to you guys. Just a FYI - my credit union suggests that when possible use your debit card as a Visa (if you have that type of card). I know that's not possible at Costco, but it is at Safeway. That way your pin number isn't at risk and your transactions are protected by Visa and not just your bank.

I don't understand. With all the technology and money that banks have access to, why can't they afford to put in a freaking decent high end camera on their atm. I mean come the picture is ridiculous. Identitfying the crook would be so much easier with high end camera. Banks need to put in the extra cash for those cameras
