Justice Roberts, Judges' Pay Raise, Corruption 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
In like manner as Chief Justice Roberts persistently urged Congress to raise salaries of federal judges, Justice Roberts will exhibit an agenda to enhance the quality of federal courts by urging for removal of grievously errant judges.

REMARKABLY, despite that even a call for impeachment of any federal judge is a rare event, such a news riveting call has not been in the headlines! The impeachment of New Orleans Federal Judge G. Thomas Porteous was called for on December 20, 2007. Judge Porteous' brazen conduct is consistent with how things are generally done within the Eastern District Federal Court System, located in New Orleans; of which the Federal 5th Circuit and the supreme court of Louisiana are also located in infamously corrupt New Orleans.

Also, rather than lament people whom Judge Porteous' acceptance of bribes has harmed, Judge Helen Berrigan stated, "it's a very sad time for . . .our court." Reckoning the court as belonging to judges seems to be the main reason for DISinterest in impartiality. Although better late than never is comforting, appearances of covering for judges until coverups become too impossible to manage, is afflictive. For people whose lives have been devastated because of deliberate disregard for established laws, a pay raise for any such judge is a revolting concept. An equally disturbing is the fact that U.S. Attorney Jim Letten neither prosecuted Judge Porteous, nor the lawyers who paid bribes.

Also, it seems that knowledge of the law IS NOT required in order to become appointed as a federal judge, nor to remain one. A certain other federal judge repeatedly granted motions, orders and rulings in favor of a non-party for lawyers to rake in thousands of dollars in litigation fees despite that the named defendant was never served the Conversion lawsuit, and therefore NOT a party to that case. Posted on my www.lawgrace.org website is the court transcript portion from the hearing whereby that judge stated his own rules and formula. His rules were in utter disregard for Removal Statutes which clearly provide that grounds for removing a lawsuit to federal court must exist prior to removal; and grounds cannot be cured after removal -especially when federal subject matter over that tort lawsuit did not exist.

The formal Misconduct Complaint of Judge Porteous describes a lengthy pattern of serious behavior which not only makes him unfit for the bench, but for which the average person would be criminally charged. In fact, long before Hurricane Katrina, it was common knowledge that Judge Porteous should have also gone to jail with the others who were convicted in the "Bail Bonds Unlimited" and the "Operation Wrinkled Robe" scandals. Therefore, Judge Porteous' presence on the bench has for a long time been a public stench.

Moreover, relevant to this nation's Foreclosure Crisis, is the economy matter which affects every American in some way or another. Thus, again New Orleans federal court systems comes to the forefront because of the MANIFEST judicial collusion here which abets real estate and mortgage fraud racketeering!

Foreclosure fraud, committed via attorney debt collector abuses and deception, is the worst factor of the Mortgage Mess. Collectors here file foreclosures naming defunct mortgage companies, or mortgage companies which no longer hold the note; and they affix "fees" (ransom amounts) exceeding "Acceleration Clauses," which impedes repayment capacity. When homeowners sue for "Unfair Debt Collection Practices," collectors get even more money from protracted litigation.

The formal complaint about Judge Porteous and a few local news stories were published here. However, it seems that in reporting to the public about Justice Roberts, the upcoming impeachment issue should be reported. Instead, there's things like what Brittany Spears, Vic and the pit bulls, or how many Black people died in New Orleans, and so on. Matters of impeachment of a federal judge is not only historical, news of it could foster rays of hope. Because many people distrust the courts, to hear that discipline does occur for judges, and that no one is above the law could do some good for social morale. Therefore, to reiterate, I hope that with equal persistent and determination, Chief Justice Roberts will be just as concerned about impeaching federal Judge Porteous, as he was about ensuring that federal judges received pay raises.
