After reading all the correspondence from MIKED, I am compelled to add my unsimpithetic few words. Just by reading what you have written "MIKED" it seems to me you are not mature enough to be driving, so go give your dad his keys back and break out the schwinn or your Razor Scooter so the world will be safer. Driving is a priveledge provided to you by the state of California it is not a right given to you by the Constitution. You must earn the right first by passing the educational process then by proving that you have the willingness to follow all traffic laws and to be responsible enough not to endanger anyones life or property by unsafe driving habits. If you are being pulled over it is because you probably are not being safe even if you are following all traffic laws. If you don't like being pulled over now and you don't change your driving habbits than you won't like being pulled over even after age 21.

Dude seriously, for our safety: STOP DRIVING YOU DUMBASS!! lol
You obviously are doin something that is catching the attention of cops. Its may not be your age, or how you dress. Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe your driving has something to do with it? Or even better, maybe its the car your driving, whether its a piece of poo or a benz, the car maybe catching the atention.

I have been reading these posts for the last few months. From what has been said, police cannot pull over or arrest, African-Americans, Hispanics, teenagers, or women without being called racist or discriminating. Watch out all adult white males.

The last time I checked, the police don't make the laws. Laws are made by those elected by the voters in this state.

These men and women in uniform day after day, are willing to give their lives for people they don't know. Even for those who are so critical of the way they do their jobs. "JOB" for these officers doesn't stop when they leave work.

I guess I'm just from a time that officers didn't have to worry about someone finding out what they do for a living in fear of what may happen to their family. I grew up respecting law enforcement, fire fighters, and emergeny personel in general. When your ready to give all to a stranger, feel free to complain.

seehowitis, We probably grew up in much the same world. I respect very much the job our police in this country do. It is not an easy job and they and their families have a right to feel safe. I just had the misfortune to have a bad experience with one rotten human being who never should have been given a badge. Lots of young women in the community had problems with this pervert during that time and he was finally forced to leave the force but not before he did a lot of damage. He just happened to be that "one bad apple" you always hear about.

Kathy, Your right. There are those in every position that shouldn't be there. I'm not saying the officers always make the right choice but for the most part, I believe they are admirable and human. Mistakes are made every day and officers aren't above that. Unfortunatly, their mistakes are publicly viewed. I don't know that I could do it. If someone wrote about my mistakes everyday, I think I'd feel usless to society in general.

Police, good honest officers, are never useless in our society. They are certainly better than the alternative, which would be having a police state where the military is acting as both police and military.
