JimF, your choice of words suggests you work for the Tracy Police Department.

Rather than harassing residents online, why don't you actually focus on your job.

Post edited by: M and Ms, at: 2008/02/17 05:17

Gary, if you disagree with something that anyone states on these forums, a more positive approach would be to challenge the facts by offering your own facts.

Post edited by: M and Ms, at: 2008/02/17 05:15

You do nothing but moan and groan about TPD. Why Don't you leave town. And another thing, do you try to help the police, like calling them, giving license plate numbers, desciption of cars and people. You seem to have a real vendetta against the police in town here and I think there is more to your complaining then meets the eye. Did you have an experience that they couldn't solve? Something is up, You seem to think a cop should be on every corner in town. Give it up. Leave Tracy.

maybenotdumBcommenT, as I suggested to Gary, if you disagree with something that anyone states on these forums, a more positive approach would be to challenge the facts by offering your own facts in a positive and constructive manner.

maybenotdumBcommenT, I have only been posting on these forums for about a month, and I've only responded to existing postings and maybe have made six postings, and so your comments suggesting that I leave Tracy are disturbing, as are your other comments. "vendetta"? That is desperate, you, Ives, and the Tracy Police Department are desperate to say anything to try and deflect this discussion. This incredible to read.

Did you also vote for Brent Ives?

Almost every time I visit the Safeway / Starbucks parking lot after about 9:30PM on the weekends, I see the types of things I saw last week: just not as bad, but similar behavior that is shocking and that you don't see anywhere else.

Are you going to tell me that the Tracy Police Department doesn't know that the Starbucks/Safeway parking lot turns into a major hangout place for punks and their cars on Friday and Saturday nights? It is an out of control experience almost every Friday and Saturday night.

For this particular incident, I was behind the car that opened all four of its doors all the way, while still moving, and the occupants hung out and started flipping everyone off while I had another 7 or so cars racing all over the parking around me as if it were a crazy scene out of gang movie. At that point, my only goal was to safely get out of that area without getting my vehicle hit or personally assaulted. It was terrifying. I didn't think about getting a license plate number until I was out of that area, and that point I really didn't have any desire to go back into that dangerous area.

Next time around I'll try and get at least one license plate number, but my personal safety comes first.

It is interesting that through all of these replies that not single poster has made any comments that undermine the facts I stated in my original postings.

Post edited by: M and Ms, at: 2008/02/17 12:07

Well M and Ms you do have a -8 and did you CALL THE POLICE because you should have so they can log it and get the several incidences they need to prove it needs more patroling. Yes I am going to tell you the police may not know about it because of people like you that think someone else must have CALLed THE POLICE on this. This is a constructive manner, CALL THE POLICE when you see a wrong doing. BTW, how do you know things like this doesn't happen anywhere else. You can't be everywhere. Someone side swiped my friends car last night and it was a hit and run. I CALLED THE POLICE. When you got away from the parking lot did you CALL THE POLICE? I'm guessing no. And if this happens there evry Fri. and Sat. my constructive critisism is to go somewhere else then. I'm not undermining what you said. I suggest you CALL THE POLICE when you see illegal behavior even when you get to a safe point. And what does the comment about voting for Ives have to do with this anyway? Just asking

Re:Tracy Police... 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: -2
maybenotdumBcommenT, good points, thanks. In January I got a new mobile phone, and I had not yet programmed in the Tracy Police Department's non-emergency phone number into my phone. I guess I could have called 911 or called when I got home. I now have it programmed into my new phone, and so when I see it, I'll report it. I guess there is always the chance that everyone assumes that the Tracy PD is getting the calls, when in fact they may not be getting any calls, and so I'll start calling them anytime I see something illegal happen that is a significant issue.
