You know, I work at West Valley Mall and I have to say that Tracy P.D. does try their hardest to keep the city safe. People say that its not safe at the mall anymore and that is just not true. The mall is the only thing in Tracy that the kids have where they can meet their friends, hang out, and have a good time. Unfortunately the parents just let their kids go to the mall and hang out all night long there. Most parents don't even know that their teens are at the mall hanging out. I have seen most of the crimes commited are from teens aging mostly between 12-17 years old. The parents need to make sure that their teens are back home at a decent hour. I have seen teens hanging out at the Movie Theatre till 11-12 o'clock at night. I'm sorry, but there is no reason for our teenagers to be out that late.

Post edited by: hotwheeljay1, at: 2008/02/09 20:15

Maybe you should go back to one of the "worst cities" in the world. Why don't you try to be in two places at once. I guess five officers are suppose to be everywhere at one time. Maybe it's not the quality of the officers in this town but the quanity.
Let's not stop at the police. If firefighters were driving around town all the time they could probably prevent all fires or at least already be there by the time the fire starts. They do on average make more than an officer in this town.
It's about time Tracy residence realize we need more police officers to be effective at fighting crime and being proactive.
Have you ever looked at the police blotter? Thing like, lost cell phones, six year olds refusing to go to school, a neighbor called me a bad name. These are all things that tie up officers and cause back logs for the real crimes.
The residents of this town need to start voicing what is really important. Did we need this gaudy looking new city hall? Do you have any idea how many emergency personel could have been hired for that price? How many vehicles could have been purchased so cars and trucks with over 125,000 miles could be replaced?
How much is the city going to spend on a new sports park? The last one went over really well. Only team sports can get a permit. That defeats the purpose of the idea.
By the way, what kind of call were the officers responding to? If someone were holding a gun to your head, would you like one officer to show up at his/her leisure or would you rather several show up as fast as they can. Why don't you send the PD a letter telling them that if you ever need help, they can just take their time, use their turn signal, and by all means, if they have a headlight out, please make sure it is fixed before coming to help. See how it is?

So you "ENJOYED watching the complete failure of the Tracy PD last night"................Judging by that statement I guess you would be overwhelmed with joy if the PD ceased to exist and the A-holes were in charge. Sounds like anarchy to me. Get a clue, dumbshit.

Don't make up stupid excuses for Brent Ives and Suzanne Tucker. This town is completely out of control due to leadership problems, and that really is due to the 5000 or so village fools who vote for these two F students.
We have millions to squander on every fringe project that the infamous insiders want to do.
We have millions to waste on giving city employees significant increases in their pensions that were already extremely generous.
We have millions to waste on overpaying DES contractors who make over $100 an hour to do work that virtually anyone in Tracy could do with a weekend of training.
We pissed $4 million down the drain on that insanely stupid sports complex idea on Shulte Road, that appeared to only have one reason, that being to extend city infrastructure down Shulte to help the Pombos and the other infamous Tracy insiders get more wealthy, but we don't have the money to fund critical city services.
At the end of the day, the punk infestation we have in Tracy is due to the residents who vote for Tucker and Ives.
The Tracy Police Department has played a major role in this punk infestation with their continuous endorsement of Brent Ives for Mayor and anyone else for mayor who will increase their pensions and salaries at the expense of having more cops on the streets. Do we as residents want more cops on the streets? Or, do we want to give even more millions to the existing cops so that they will continue to endorse Brent Ives at the expense of public safety?

Post edited by: M and Ms, at: 2008/02/10 04:02

Wow, if I would have known sooner that Mayor Ives and Councilwoman Tucker were directly responsible for all of the crime, traffic accidents, and all of the nonsense that occurs in Tracy, I would have never voted for them. Thanks M, your a genius, you should be Mayor, no wait Govenor. Your really smart.

M and Ms one question for you, what did you do in reaction to this display? Call the police maybe with a description or license number, etc?
