The problem we have in this community is that Ives is so focused on buying the votes of the Tracy Police Department that all he cares about is giving the existing cops more money rather than actually putting more cops on the streets.

If you are the victim of crimes in Tracy, remember it is in part because of the greed of the Tracy PD that we don't have more cops in Tracy.

Ives just pissed away $4 million on some sports complex cover in a pollution cloud, with that same money we probably could have hired at least four more cops for a few years.

I guess I did not correctly understand the last posting. What does a four million dollar sports complex have to do with paying the officers in this town more money?

I don't know much about Ives and his politics but, I do know very few of the PD actually live here so what do their votes matter for him?

Well, maybenotdumBcommenT, I'm sorry your were insulted, but the talk was on the police reportedly 'harrassing' people just because of the way they are dressed. You said you were insulted so I can only assume you are insulting everyone who chooses to wear gang type clothing and baggy pants.

Gary, Your remark about heavy people wearing spandex has nothing to do with what gang type clothing kids are wearing these days. I'm not even sure I would recognize someone that was either a gang member or an actual person that was in a gang. Police don't arrest people wearing spandex.
