For those of you who feel contacting the police is a waste of time.... Why do you do it?
Why don't you gather a vigilantly group together, profile anyone carrying a BB gun, driving a foreign car that looks like it could do donuts in the middle of an intersection. Or better yet why didn’t you do anything when your friend got stabbed?

If the police are so worthless why aren’t you doing anything about it?

Let me see if I drive a car that I have modified to look like a street racer could I be mistaken for one? Hmmm.
If I dress like a “gangster” could I be mistaken for one? Hmmm.
OH if I’m questioned because I look like I could know something about a crime or because I might be hanging around people that are involved and would brag about it (see “gangster” poser comment above) and I give the police nothing but attitude when stopped I should be surprised that I receive the same amount of respect I give.

You all sound like a bunch of nuclear scientists and brain surgeons Answer me this.
IF your job placed you into a real life or death situation and you don’t know who the bad guys are, wouldn’t you be very cautious until you knew which side they are on. Would someone giving you nothing but attitude make you question why you are willing to take a bullet for them? Or did you forget that’s what the blue uniforms do. Take a bullet for YOU. I would give these guys more respect than what I see here. You got a beef go to court and use the system if you’re innocent you have nothing to worry about but don’t stand there and blame someone else for your choices or actions.

I model my behavior after model citizens. I believe in giving everyone the same respect they give me. Ever wonder why the police are polite maybe they would appreciate that same action in response.

well not to judge anyone, as a minority myself, but sometimes it is hard for police not to screen people. I'm not an officer and know nothing about how to run the system. But I do know this, I know my own people. They think that there the Sh*tz, I say what? Your no different than me partner, get work like everyone else and get off that high horse. Or ship out back to the old country and see what living condition you prefer. l2kill2 - I agree with you. To much talk in this forums, but when it's time to get the ball rolling...well I hear crickets.....

i agree with l2kill there's flaws in every organization but the police do a damn good job in my opinion and deserve the respect from the citizens.

protect yourself, don't expect cops to do anything but fine you for your taillight being out. Exercise your 2nd amendment right, or what's left of it.

This country, the land that either we love or hate, was built on the principle that we didn't have to do what Mother England wanted...we built it (or our forefathers did) on the thought that we could create our Constitution and we did it well. Now, we have people who talk about how unjust our Constitution is...excuse me? If LAWS were not in place, this country would be a 3rd world country and I dare you to try and say its not a true statement. If we didn't follow RULES, lawlessness would abound. You are dang lucky MIKED that you are allowed the privilege of a license. Yeah, it may suck that you get pulled over (cry me a river), but think of it like this...while you are more than likely a teen, when you become a parent, you will be crying and whining that not enough is done to curb the youth of YOUR children or their peers' age. When that day comes, look in the mirror, smile and wave at yourself...its all up to you.
Nowadays, you get a bunch of blowhards who think that they deserve every thing, that no one can tell them that what they did was wrong; just simply a bunch of narcissistic whiney pants that are NOT ACCOUNTABLE for their own actions. If you have an issue, a problem, a concern and you think you can do it better, step up or shut up. Be a useful citizen, enroll in POST, take responsibility for who you are and stop trying to blame every one else for your shortcomings, getting pulled over, getting a ticket, or whatever the next whine filled post will be.
