Does anyone know if it is legal for residents that live adjacent to city parks (such as Souza Family Park) to install 24 hour security video cameras that monitor the park?

What are the laws that cover this?

The only rule I know of for camera's is, they cannot be set to show inside someones residence or anywhere where there is an expectation of privacy. Wide open places are fair game.

I have been researching the problem for the past few hours and that matches what I have found thus far. It also sounds like it is smart to avoid any audio capture.

Now I need to find some very high quality security video cameras with no audio capture capabilities.

Might want to try Radio Shack or Fry's will most likely have something or be able to order it. Good Luck. I like to see those in the community getting involved without just complaining.
