here, allow me to make myself more clear, sorry for any confusion:

It's not been asked to follow a point of view but rather any time Islam is spoken of with criticism somebody gets their panties in a wad. Christianity is constantly criticized in the media; you don't see fundamentalists demanding somebody's head!"
everyone should be protected from ignorant statements, including Islam. we can argue all day about who is more criticized in the media but it just comes down to how we both view the world.

as for cutting heads off and other limbs as a form of punishment, do you think that this really has anything to do with religion or power? look at cuba! in all fairness our country still hangs and electrocutes our people right?
how many times have you wondered why we dont just shoot them in the head and get it over with? i have, it would save our nation a ton of money. i dont believe that because i believe in an eye for an eye, but because the murder rate would go down if criminals knew they would be held accountable for their actions. imagine how many shoplifters would rethink stealing if they knew their hand would be cut off.
the reason why our country doesnt do this is because we are a free country. we are not ruled by dictators who try to keep us ignorant so they can control us, like most muslim countries.
