Good one briandub!
When asked for clarification on how the caller knew the teenagers were not causing any trouble, he simply stated that he did not see any cleats or soccer balls.
Responding officers converged on the teenagers only to learn that they were not playing soccer at the park and "only" smoking a little marijuana at which point, the officers notified command that they were 10-9 for lunch and headed to La Costa for a couple of carne asada tacos.
An officer was going to escort the players off the field with the caller, but the soccer players left before an officer arrived."
It was later learned that after the teenagers in question stopped playing soccer, authorities learned of a new ongoing problem that was a direct result of kids not having places to play and sports to keep them busy that led to real problems like drugs, drinking, fighting, tagging and gang affiliations.
Whatever happened to the days when people could actually play on the grass fields in their town without breaking a law?
A case of unintended libation?

Here we go again. I've spent the last two days talking about pit bulls in another article!!!
Really? I wonder if he weaved his way home?
-Maybe I am not reading this right or my mind is not thinking. The infant was uninjured from the crashes, does not give any reason for the cops to arrest her for drunk driving? Hitting a fence and then a sign sounds doesn't sound like this person is fit for driving. BUT since there were no injuries, all is okay. Whatever. (I guess no blood test was even attempted)
